Josh Starita is a third generation cosmetology school owner and currently serves as the President of Paul Mitchell Schools North Star Group, a group consisting of seven cosmetology schools in three states. Josh attended BYU’s Marriott School of Business where he majored in Entrepreneurial Management and focused his education in data analytics. While attending school, he became the youngest member of the Strategy and Operations department at Vivint. He analyzed and created new pay structures for the organization and developed skills in data synthesis and visualization. Josh then transitioned his career to focus on the family business where he worked in a variety of different roles including Financial Aid Leader, Director, Director of Marketing, Director of Finance and Analytics, and now President. In addition, Josh owns and operates a data visualization company that focuses on KPI dashboards for beauty schools called Starita Solutions LLC.
